#UN75 Anniversary Celebrating 75 People: 75 Stories
“I had to choose, was I going to let it kill me or choose to overcome it and not just survive but thrive”
This year as the United Nations celebrates 75 years they have decided to choose 75 people and stories to coincide with this momentous event. I am so incredibly humbled to have been one of the people chosen and have broadcast at a special event held at the Peace Castle with Antonio Guterres and other phenomenal people
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the entire production team at NPO 1, for bringing this all together so seamlessly and Mireille Visscher for being my point of contact and graciously sharing the entire episode with me
I couldn’t leave out Peter Blom, who I met when shooting the Sam Feldt documentary in 2018 and from which the footage was used in this snippet. I would also last but not least like to give gratitude to the United Nations Humanity House Team for our countless conversations arranging suitable interview times and patiently creating a podcast and something that we would be proud to have printed
To be chosen and honored is something that I never quite get used too and I will continue to be humbled by it
